and now we have deviated so far from a DG discussion that we all really do need to have a sad cum and come back later.

I'd rather get The Fever instead, sad cums are the worst, make me depressed for like a whole day.

yeah, this release struck me as a version of dg that is much more willing to just go balls to the wall without sounding like theyre taking themselves seriously ie: No Love

seems like they just got super high and made a bunch of bangers tbh

brought in nick to record some more loud shit

had a grand ole time

Where do you think they will go next?

Crazy experimentation or improving upon their current style?

I can't imagine the next record carrying on this formula, I think it'll be another full length but more in the vein of NLDW or GP.

Also I can't remember what page it was on and I'm not trawling back through the last 17/18 pages that appeared since I last said anything, but whoever said about my comment on there being hooks making it sound like I hadn't listened to a DG record before - I get your point and I think what I said made it a little too simplistic, but I found this record a lot more instantly manageable and accessible than anything since TMS and that's how the idea kinda presented itself, I probably could have explained it better.

Since it's Death Grips I doubt whatever comes next will sound anything like this. Maybe it will be a full on hardcore album next.

After listening to this I hope they take a break. They sound a just a little tired (IMO) and although a consistent realease per year schedule is all right fine by me, I think both the arists and us as audience would benefit from it... Step out a little, chill, consider if they still have something interesting and compelling to say and come up with their next stuff with a new set of mind and with a fresh perspective.

I just see some songs in here as if they just started to repeat themselves. Of course, DG repeating themselves is still better than nothing, I guess, but it still fell a little short in parts.
