Sweet review, one of your best. Some of the sentence structures/lengths could be a bit more varied, but the clarity of your writing makes it so fun to read.
Listened to one of the singles from this a while back and it was a pretty cool pop song, so might check this eventually.

Honestly dig it more than most of Black Veil Brides. Not sure whether I enjoy it more than Set the World on Fire yet; but it's definitely one of my favorite albums of all time.
His voice fits in this so much better.

I have no idea why people hate his voice so much; even if you don't like it, I could think of 50 different vocalists in major bands with worse tones / less skill / both.

yeah and i could think of like 50 different vocalists that don't sound like they have a fuckin clothespin on their nose

He's not really that nasally. Did you hear half of the notes he was hitting in "Homecoming King" for example?

I mean not really; he's got a great range, and a gruff, enjoyable tone.

Honestly, I'm not even that excited for BVB album #5. The self titled is growing off me quite a bit, Bob Rock's production really fucked up that album. So far bar Set the World on Fire, Andy Black is easily my favorite out of any material he's ever done.

I must disagree but I suppose we are two different eras of BVB fandom.
I can't stand BVB's first two albums, I find them pretty bad in terms of production and general taste. However, I thoroughly enjoy Wretched and Divine and BVB 4. BVB moreso because of its more Thrash guitar songs. I think Bob Rock elevated them to a whole new level. That's just me though.
