It's like Treasure, but I suppose slightly gritter and post punkier

I love Treasure but for some reason never listened to Heaven (or maybe I did but forgot) or had any inkling to check this

Don't get me wrong, I love Heaven or Las Vegas, but the lower production dirtier darker Cocteau Twins is probably more my thing

It isn't strange, no. This album's lovely, yet a bit uneven for me, checked it again this morning and this 3.5 is here to stay at least a little longer.

Their middle four are still their peak in my opinion, and I actually really love Milk & Kisses.

I haven't heard the 2 post-HoLV albums or Garlands, but I find Victorialand a little forgettable, so that's probably why it's my least fave of the 5 I know

And Victorialand is so nicely quiet and comfy Ars! It is quite different though. Yet it also contains one of their best tracks ever, Lazy Calm.

They rule very very hard and even their less-liked albums are crazy good to me. Milk & Kisses is especially underrated I'd say. I might review it one day even!
