This is easily their best imo. Elemental is excellent too, don't sleep on that one.

Those two, despite being great, would be my least favorites if I had to rank all the songs.

I’ve always thought Famous Last Words should be paired with figure skating or ballet routine it feels so majestic

Year of the Knife is amazing. The production in general is also huge. One of the best sounding pop albums of the 80s for sure.

They're finally releasing a deluxe box-set for the record that has a bunch of b-sides, demos, and live jam sessions, along with a 5.1 mix from Steven Wilson. Looking forward to this a lot.

Steven Wilson remixing this album really highlights what made Tears for Fears special. This is deeply earnest pop music made with such complexity and attention to detail that even the staunchest prog nerd can enjoy.

Also shout out to Pino Palladino for wigging the fuck out on fretless bass at the end of Third World

so excited for the reissue, a lot of previously unreleased stuff in there apparently

2nd half of this might be the best thing they ever did

I'm really excited to hear all those alternate versions of Badman's Song that are supposedly completely different.
