I think that even though the previous album best songs are maybe better than the best songs on this new album, this is more cohesive and has therefore has more longevity... the first album was just all over the place and has too many stupid moments - the new album is pretty much just a metal album without any stupid moments and even those songs that are inspired by bands like Dragonforce are better than any songs from that band ...
Not to mention the fact that those guys who play the instruments are better players than any from Dragonforce and the drummer is just insane and maybe my favorite drummer in metal right now.. and as a fan of progressive metal and melodic death metal, I'm really enjoying Tales of The Destinies, Meta Taro and Sis. Anger
And thank god for no nu-metal, pretty much no dubstep, hip-hop or any of like that shit this time around
