They definitely know their way around a riff. I dunno it was probably harsh of me to say their entire disco is a 3.5. then again, I meant it in a nice way as 3.5 does stand for "Great"

Wow no kidding about twilight of the thunder god -- that track rules

My introduction to this band was Twilight of the Thunder God--the disc by which all other AA albums I hear are measured. Coming from that perspective, this is boring as SHIT.

I have always enjoyed Amon Amarth albums, even their "worst" isn't below average. They have a solid formula, the only thing I can see negatively is how copy and paste they can be.

Yeah, outside a couple early albums, if you like one album, can't really see how you wouldn't like them all. They don't change, but there isn't anyone who does melodeath like they do either, so it all sort of balances.
