Huh. Twilight is great but I always found it sounded like a more streamlined version of Oden. Oden has a better balance of melody and aggression

I can't tell if they've started using less tremolo riffing a la the stuff on Oden/Twilight, but I'm getting a lot of Dethklok vibes from this style of melodeath that I never really got from this band before.

Been listening to it over and over - definitely a strong record, imo. And a big grower too.
On a sea of Blood is absolute killer - while, on the other hand, A dream that cannot be, is a utter piece of crap... Which is sad, because the groundwork idea behind it is not bad.

A Dream That Cannot Be: First listen, female vocals are definetly a great idea, but they really didn't fit in and kinda killed the song for me. I'll tell you how this changes in the second listen.
