Sounds like Mr. Weiss is trying to put out a little bit more punky Owen album. Except Kinsella creates meaningful melodies while Weiss's (on this album) sound a bit rudimentary.

i feel like it sets up the rest of the paragraph and theres a bit of a call back to that idea near the end of the review. but yeah when taken out of context like that its a bit pointless
