I think it is, but it's a tough call between this and Rain Dogs... and maybe Swordfishtrombones as well. If you haven't checked his 70s stuff yet, you should try Blue Valentine. It's super underrated and probably my favorite from that decade.

Yeah, I'm not a gigantic fan of Closing Time. His takeaways from the 70s for me are the two I mentioned. Small Change is pretty alright too, but it's not one that I care that much about returning to.
