I like exactly 5 of these: I Am, New Romantics, Colorblind, Stillwater, and Division Symbols.

The rest ranges from boring to bad

I am with you on all those except Stillwater. I also like Grey Havens.

Still don't think anything here is outright bad

Stillwater was the only one that grew on me after giving this album multiple chances. the chorus is pretty decent.

Grey Havens and Bloodlines have some damn high potential but they feel too underdone for their own good.

and actually let me rephrase. On their own, most of these are just your average boring filler tracks. together you have one of the most uneventful/uninspired albums I've ever heard. There's such a minimal amount of variation from track to track and they all follow the same typical song structure, which is really only a huge determent because nearly all of these bridges aka big moments feel so lackluster.

I was mad when this album came out because it felt like the biggest step back for them. Compared to Ground Dweller and Unimagine, this sounds bad to me for the most part hence my 2 rating. But even without that comparison, I still find this to be boring/underwhelming leaving it in the low 2 range at best.

I haven't listened to the new one, but for me, they have just regressed with each album. I really like the more post hardcore and technically proficient sound of Ground Dweller, and Unimagine is a decent foray into a more mainstream approach and still keeping some of the original sound.

And then there was this.

ive once again matured since last comment, this is probs like a 3 tbh lmfao. they just put out their first track without trenton and it's...a song. wish they just....called it a different project tbh cuz now i inherently dislike it more than i should (but not more than it deserves cuz still fuck these guys for not letting trenton play some final shows and for what? more uninspired phc/metalcore)
