This band's last three studio albums have been sooooo good imo. Can't wait to hear the new one tonight.

These guys need to do more tracks like "Majesty and Silence."

A confusing situation, OG had two masterful atmospheric releases prior to this one but still they were somehow inconsistent as a whole. Grey Heavens sees the band returning to their Redshift era straightforward heavy metal like style (and now I understand why, Vanhala started saving all the atmospheric pieces for Insomnium so he probably decided to use the more simple ones for OG). That being said, now this album IS consistent enough for me to call it their best effort. There still are some atmosphere and ethereality left (Frontiers, The Great Liberation) and there are a lot of brilliant melodies as well.

To each their own, but I find that this is their worst of the last four.

Well I don't see how it can be worse than The Burning Cold which is essentially this very same record only with poorer songwriting and a shitty production.

Production is worse on the new one, agreed, but I feel that the songwriting + riffs are superior on that one.
