Spreading The Disease and Among The Living are probably among the best of the genre, at least among the best of melodic thrash metal. Persistence of Time is very solid but doesn't have any falsettos anymore, and State of Euphoria and their debut are pretty good. Worship Music is solid if more polished than my taste, and Sound of White Noise is a tad bit underrated. The rest is kinda meh, but nothing they made is as bad as St. Anger though.

just as good, if not better than a lot - there's a reason they're part of the big 4
first 6 LPs are all great imo even if the averages on here are kinda low for some of em

@tempest yeah they are very accessible by the genre's standards, and that played a big role in forcing other bands to push forward. Their first 6 are really the only albums that are essential by them, but WM is pretty good too.

Anthrax were always really melodic and I think a decent amount of people are turned off by that because its not what they look for in thrash so thats why these guys have a lot of dissenters but damn if youcant jam hard to Medusa theres something wrong with you
