Album slays hard. Definitely close or equal to Rareform in quality. It's awesome seeing these guys release quality stuff after In Dreams and Wolves Within which were pretty meh.

Honestly this album bores the Hell out of me. I wanted something to listen to during 1st period today, and I saw that this had great reviews so far, so I threw it on. Super uninterested. Djent bores me. Vocal style bores me. Drums bore me. Riffs bore me. Just my opinion. Could never get into them, and this is no exception.

Do you even mosh bro? Hmm thats interesting brettgoespunk, you must really not like this style if you find this album boring. I suggest you give their 'Rareform' album a listen. The djentyness is really toned down and it goes ham

Rareform still has an annoying amount of breakdowns though, and overly prolonged ones at that.

it wasnt offensively bad but still kinda sounded like they were on autopilot (BOO that is, rareform is the best)

They did finish the record before Justin died. I remember on Justin's online meltdown, he mentioned the band being almost done with a new LP.

Yes, the album was written and partially recorded while Justin was still alive , so this has most of his part's on here. Great album, only disappointment is the vocals. Anthony completely discarded his deep pitch and the deep squeal he does. Letdown by that big-time.

No way man thats like saying Meshuggah's riffs drag on too much

I see where your coming from, do you like Circle Of Contempt? I'm looking forward to their new album, I have a feeling its gonna slay.

That was my bad I should change that on the review but I think I've edited it too much already

circle of contempts debut is so sick. i didnt love that EP they put out, too overproduced, but artifacts is fire. they have lots of potential

Glad that they came out on top after Justin's death. I might me a little past the whole djent craze, but I'm really impressed with the production of this album. Sweet review Nocturnal, take my pos.

Yeah AIM is top tier metalcore imo, I know what your saying about potential, I feel like those guys never got the attention they deserved during their time with Sumerian

Thanks bro, appreciate it.

There are cool riffs on this but the breakdowns fuck up the flow hard. Like on Deluge, that djenty (hate using that word) riff/breakdown is so fucking unnecessary. Took me out the moment til the solo came. And the breakdown in Endless March irritated the fuck out me.
