my show was 9.5/10 because during a quiet moment between songs (like four songs in to the set) some idiot shouted PLAY GO HOME and the whole room rolled their eyes like YEAH dude thanks for ruining the end of the set.
How did you manage to FREEEEEEEBIRRRRRRRRD a god damn Julien Baker show?

@Aids, dude that sucks, sounds so awkward. But I'd imagine Julien'd have dealt with it well, she was super chill when I saw her this week. It was a little disappointing in that it ended a little abrupt, though, she performed Go Home and ran off stage. That said, it looked a little like she was about to cry, so completely understandable. :/
In fact, seemed a few times she was about the break, particularly with the new songs. There was this one line: "I heard there was a fix for everything / Well, then why, then why, then why, then why not me?" Absolutely heart-breaking, the whole crowd died a little bit. Crowd was unbelievably polite, easily the most considerate audience I've been in.

Thanks man. I'm not even going to lie, almost teared up, which has never happened w/ music before. It was such a short set, though, and she didn't perform stuff like Brittle Boned. All the "classics", though - Rejoice, Everybody Does, Something, etc. Haha, I've spent so much time with this album they really do feel like classics.

Does sound like an awesome experience Blushful. I am a little worried for Julien though, I guess it comes with her style of music but I can imagine that it'd be a tough tour if every concert she does upsets her like that.

Yeah, I get that, man. But otherwise she was quite cheerful. A lot of her stage banter itself revolved around how sad the music was. She smiled whenever people started singing along with her.

I don't know about this album, but I'd write Julien Baker a 5, no question. All the new songs I've heard are unbelievable.
