"Is there a release date?" Nope, still no info on release date.

"more dungeon synthage I'm guessing?" Most probably. I'd be surprised if Varg still had unused BM tracks.

Then it will probably blow as hard as this one. Lofi/cheap guitars can sound badass but a cheap yamaha synth from the 90s less so imo.

Cheap Yamaha synths are the best.

We're so different, haha!

I mean I love synths and some classic old school sounds can sound really cool. like old toy pianos of 8-bit sounds etc, but it's that awful middleground where it just sounds like a cheap attempt at sounding...not cheap. the shitty amateur ones like the devilish Casio SA-1 are the ones that just make my skin crawl.

Um, are we talking about the same album? Brass and trumpets are in Daudi, Yore is much more ethereal with lots of strings and pad synths, own percussion samples and vocals. I just love this album, songs like 'The Reckoning of Man', 'Autumn Leaves', 'Emptiness' are my favourite meditation tracks. "Thulean chill out", haha!

Might be daudi whatevs but fucking hail odin is just as low-grade as a walmart can of budget beans. I truly must be missing some elusive point here but this is bloody horrific.

"hail odin is just as low-grade as a walmart can of budget beans" At least we can agree on something.

I'm moderately interested in this but the swastikas on the cover are just too much. Good lord.
