I think it's a good album, but as is usually the case with Megadeth's recent albums, there are a number of things that keep it from being as good as it could have been. The lyrics on some of these songs are ridiculous even by Mustaine standards. This is not just the Rick-Santorum-endorsing-get-off-my-lawn politics of Post American World and Lying in State, but also lines like the incessant "HE / SHE HAD TO KNOW, KNOW, KNOW" of Bullet to the Brain (an overall enjoyable song IMO). Also I really wish Mustaine would learn some new guitar licks. At this point his solos contain nothing at all original. That's not entirely surprising though since he says he finds practicing guitar to be 'boring.' At any rate, I'm seeing them in Chicago next month, which should be good.

He basically invented the spider crawl and then decided that that was all he needed to do for the rest of his career

Intro to "Conquer Or Die" sounds like Matt Uelmen's work on the Diablo series

The lead work in Conquer or Die is inhuman

Nice. This album was their best since their 80's and early 90's classics imo. Better than Endgame

That’s it. He should sing as little as possible and just shred as best as possible at this time of his career

Review is pretty much spot on... it starts as a 4 then drops the ball.

The system has failed is the best since the classic era.

What a poor troll you make. Almost makes me miss quality trolls from the 2000s...when you were still wearing diapers i guess.

Le petit singe croit que tous ceux qui n'aime pas ce merde derifatif sans valeur sont des trolles. Rien que des metalheads sans cervelle peuvent en être divertis. Quelle tristesse.

Hey, another poor attempt at trolling with a piss poor level of french, full of mistakes...

Tu trolles comme un gobelin, boulet.

@Muzz79: Nah. Listen to the system has failed again.

First 3 tracks are great, as is Bullet to the Brain; Post American World has some great riffing, but the chorus drips vinegar in my eyes. I thought the rest was good, but it definitely starts falling flat by the end.
