to each his own i guess... even if the music is good if an aspect completely ruins it for him then the result is the same imo
but then I don't know how a black metal listener would find these vocals annoying, they're pretty much in the comfort zone for the genre, it's not inquisition or sth

Damn turns out I had Eitur already downloaded on my iPod sometime last year and hadn't got round to listening. Was a nice surprise, it's a pretty great album too.

Unutterably awesome. I'd place this well above similar Icelandic efforts from the past several years - including Misþyrming's "Söngvar elds og óreiðu" (2015) and Sólstafir's "Masterpiece of Bitterness" (2005). This may even be on par with Svartidauði's "Flesh Cathedral" (2012).
Only time and the slow crawl of melting glaciers will tell.
