those suck (fear of the dark t/t is a maiden classic tho) but maybe you'll dig the style displayed on virtual xi (its harder to get into than 80's stuff) and to a lesser extent on x factor
the sign of the cross is one of my favorite maiden openers

Virtual XI was okay, but certainly a joke compared to this album and SSoaSS. To me Virtual XI is their worst LP, even though it is not quite bad.

XI has a few good songs, but a few is not enough. Especially Angel and the Gambler and Eyes of a Stranger drag it down considerably. X is a slightly better album overall. All their 90's records suffered from a lack of inspiration, but there's a fair number of great tracks between them.
