The Live After Death version is even wilder. It's perfect.

ah this record is cool too. More 'metal' than 7soa7s it seems.

The bass work and especially the production of it sounds sooooo nice

Was in some other maiden threads and I have to say that I don't now, and never have, understood the hate for Back in the Village. did some famous youtuber shit on it or something? It's a fuckin ripper front to back. Far, FAR from their worst.

@GuyMan for some reason I've always seen Back in the Village and The Duellists considered weak points in the album (on the internet I mean), which is wild considering how they slap

Someone has to be at the bottom of the list.

Back in the Village might be my least fave on here.

Fave is prob the title track.

Yeah, it's pretty hard to beat that one-two punch of the t/t and Rime at the end

"Someone has to be at the bottom of the list."

Flash of the Blade or Losfer Words for me. 2 Minutes is also one of my least played despite the popularity

Back to the Village is quite bad imo. The only 80s Maiden song I don't like. Powerslave would probably be a high 4.5 or low 5 for me without it. Everything else here is amazing.

But the delicious Speedy Riffs of Fun! One of my most anticipated things if I go for a full album spin

It's on another album, but The Trooper felt a bit overplayed for me when I last heard PoM.
