It's definitely a step down from their previous material, like where did the guitar riffs go? Only thing improved was the vocals which are always improving from album to album

This is my least favorite, Spencer is the only standout in the entire album. Safe Is Just A Shadow (original recording) is their best imo and my favorite

The instrumentals, themes, and the amount of fun you could tell they had with this record puts it above all their others for me tbh.

They certainly had fun with it, that's for sure. Way too much chuggin along tho for me, JD is way too good of a guitarist to continue to rely on it when writing songs. It was better when Justin Morrow (the bassist) was on rhythm guitar and helped out with the guitar work, as the rhythm section didn't just stick to chugging. At least this showcased Spencer at his best, and he even does highs now which sound amazing as opposed to JD's shrieks that I've never really been too big a fan of

I don't think I've seen INK live, are they really that good? That makes me happy if so.

Yea they're great live. Spencer's voice is just as good live, and his lows are so damn strong it's incredible haha. I've gotten a few pics with him, he's such a cool dude

I mean there's a couple of fun moments on here, but it just feels like them playing it way too safe. Spencer sounds like an animal on here tho, he consistently gets better as time goes on

There's a lot of jams on this album.

I'll also fight anyone who says Star Crossed Enemies isn't a good song. It speaks to my inner emo kid.

It's a decent song imo, I think the first two tracks are the strongest
