New album is amazing

Just on my first spin of the new one, definitely awesome.

meh apparently Heike is no longer part of the band and replaced with (former Draconian vocalist) Lisa Johansson. Heike-era Draconian was amazing, their best even, so this blows

I'm not that disappointed. While Heike is a better vocalist, nothing beats Arcane Rain Fell in their discog.

Well, it’s a slow, meandering album, I get that. Just so happened this album came to me in a dark period of my life of seemingly endless depression and I felt this music deeply in my soul like a spiritual experience. It was also the album that really got me into Draconian in the first place.

i had a similar experience. i really can't describe what listening to 'dusk mariner' still does to me. i think it ended up being an influence behind my song 'astral mariner' both in terms of name and approach to the song. i'd argue it's draconian's best track and the rest of the album holds up.

This grew on me fairly recently and I continue to come back to a lot of the songs, but I still don't consider it among their best.

Arcane Rain Fell remains my favourite and interestingly it also was a companion for me in some very dark times just like Sovran for Pizza and Noctus.
