Is it really an album though? I mean it's only seven tracks (that mostly feel like B-sides) and it clocks in at 25 minutes. Feels more like a quick EP of songs he had lying around.

the songs are really short by his standards and they don't really go anywhere so yes, this is pretty boring. Seems like just a little thing he was tinkering with and just said 'forget it, it's goin on bandcamp.'

Big Cloudkicker fan but I have to agree with the review. It has the elements, but it is unfocused, too short to really go anywhere and sounds pretty much like Ben Sharp going through the motions.

I'll admit it's not as good as Subsume but I actually liked this one the further I went into it. I'm not really a fan of his early work either so maybe that could be part of it.

I don't know - I have a hard time finding anything (outside of "Mou") that I really don't like. It's simple, but I find it sort of elegant.

Little Histories grew on me a lot, so I'm gonna give this a couple months before I rate it. My favorite music takes time to sink in, anyways.

I was hoping for a great release since most of his music is enjoyable but this ended up being maybe his weakest release. Little Histories was slightly better but with that one and now Woum, I hope he puts out another quality release soon. Subsume was great though.
