Check candy - good to feel for hxc aoty maybe. Just dropped the other day. I actually love the title track on this so I enjoyed the new song a lot. I’m definitely nervous that they’re going to overdo the clean dynamic though because what made it so special in my eyes was how the whole album aside from one other song was all breakneck speed and heavy so having the one or two clean moments were reaaaaally impressive.

They just were very simple and monotonous. Didn't even know there was a new single. I'll check it, but I'd much prefer they keep to what they are good at. The slow tracks on this were average at best imo.

'it’s funny they had said a year or two ago that some people might not like the new direction they were going in. I was expecting more stuff like a good life or lightless walk, not that they’d be going in a potentially heavier direction. new song is great. very excited for the album'

I dig the vocals during the first half, they're good for spoken word. When they get higher, then they get questionable.. overally the song just isn't very interesting. A Good Life and the t/t on this are better
