Funny how there's a Finnish doom band with a Russian name that sings in Russian (KYPCK) and also a Russian doom band with a Finnish name that sings in Finnish.
Need to check those guys out, our homeland is a pretty doomy place so this must be pretty authentic.

IMO it's possible they got their name from the Tenhi album "Kauan" from 1999. There are many similarities between the two bands so I wouldn't be too surprised.

That final part of Nila, from 5:30 onwards, is so great. Especially once the piano joins in at the end, it really hits a high note in terms of melancholic atmosphere right there.

Parts of this record are still growing on me after the seventh full listen, very nice.
