I find the new album a bit bland and a lof of the tracks sounds alike but I will have it for another spin later today.

That's high praise Toon. You're hyping me so much for this album. I refuse to listen to any more of it until I have a physical copy in my hand. You and I always seem to be of opposing viewpoints on bands. It's nice that Coheed can bring us together ;)

Toon didn't say to compare them, but just noting that if you go in expecting Good Apollo 2.0 you'll have a bad time imo. I like it, but they're very different and I'd consider Good Apollo to be the better album.

Unheavenly Creatures slaps so fuccing hard

i don't see the gripes with the cover art, it's cheesy as hell but it looks to me like the poster for if the album's story was theoretically like a movie or something. or a comic book cover. and considering what the band's been built off of i couldn't see the art any other way other than maybe a fancy insignia or something.
