This was initially disappointing to me but then grew like a mf'er that same autumn. It's between this and Neck of the Woods for my favorite SSPU album. Leaning towards Neck of the Woods as a whole but The Wild Kind may be my favorite song.

It is p gud song isn’t it. This album was always my fav from them because I went to a Cage the Elephant concert they opened for. Didn’t know them before the concert and then got blown away by their performance of Friendly Fire and Nightlight. Came to love the rest of it shortly after

fun fact, so it was in "setlist" mode or whatever and the song that came before was already female fronted so the character they had for the singer was a female, and they don't change throughout the setlist, so I thought this was a girl for some time lol probably until I discovered Panic Switch.
