Pretty solid, but Anthony kind of ruins this band, like on Snow, Hump de Bump, Warlocks, Tell Me Baby, and So Much I.

Favs are Charlie, the t/t, Slow Cheetah, Torture Me, Strip My Mind, Michigan, Wet Sand, Hey, Desecration Smile, If, Animal Bar, Turn it Again, and Death of a Martian.

I like Anthony, he seems like a good enough dude these days and I appreciate his frontman persona. I know the horse is long since dead via brutal beatings but he absolutely sucks the life out of everything he touches. How so much of their discog works is miraculous- it only took literally the greatest guitarist of a generation to save. this is soooo bloated but bssm, californication, and by the way will always be classics. john's discog is far better though.

even if I cared-which I dont- Im in no position to be critical of someone's ratings. that being said it's pretty easy to see why someone would abhor rhcp lol

The third disc of b-sides for this is basically another RHCP album with Frusciante, called Venus, almost an hour long, and just as good as either disc of this. There’re a few instrumental jams that are excellent.
