This is definitely pretty dull, but that assessment is just fucking mental. Her persona isn't contrived at all; it's just something you don't enjoy. Stop conflating your opinions of her and of her music.

who she is is a part of how her music comes off so its pretty relevant to conflate my opinions of her as a person with my opinions of her music. not sure u actually know what the word conflate means tbh, you havent really been demonstrating a very good grasp of the english language today bud.

HA! Says the guy who uses lowercase exclusively. Stop with the redundant arguments. I know the word means and I used it correct. I challenge your vocabulary any day.

Secretly I liked Ultraviolence. It's a lot of fun and for some strange reason I resonate with the spoiled junkie thing.

This is more serious and lethargic, but there are some good songs here. The Blackest Day is stuck in my brain already.

is this even pop musci its so uh.... nothing
i dont know ho wto describe it properly. also this is the first of her albums im listening to but i was under the impression she was comparable to lorde. not too impressed based off my preconceived notions of what her music sounded like. but i guess i can dig it as an album i would listen to when reading or going to sleep.

That's the best way to listen to it really. And yeah this isn't comparable to Lorde at all.

you know an album's good when you can only enjoy it when you deliberately ignore it during.

There is actually a lot of music that I only ever listen to when reading or while trying to fall asleep, and I consider those albums fantastic for that setting, so I don't think that how he described it is an insult to its quality, however in the case of this particular album, it might be because I don't think that was the intended setting.
