'Today' was one of the greatest songs of 2015 and nobody talks about it

Whole album is overlooked, in fact

You're right sowing this album needs more love than it gets

'In Any Tongue' is like vintage Gilmour

He hasn't really slowed down that much for his age

It's just a great laid back album with some nice guitar work.

That's all you can really hope for from a Gilmour solo album.

I honestly like this almost as much as any Pink Floyd album

The problem any solo Floyd faces is that it will inevitably be compared to the band's classics.

Have you heard Roger's new album? Absolutely fantastic.

I've been meaning to listen and perhaps even review it but I've been consumed by work and my musical attention has been devoted to the new Alt-J both because I think it's brilliant and because I'm slated to cover it.

Is the new Roger Waters as good as this?

I like it more but it's divided a lot of people. For me it's all about the lyricism, and the album hits hard. Nigel's production is great too.

I love lyrics as much as music itself so I'll check. Probably just not for a few days at least. June is a crazy good month for my particular pop/folk leaning taste: Bleachers, Alt-J, Fleet Foxes, Lorde...and then first week of July is Broken Social Scene. Insane.

I know man this is a busy month, I've been listening to nothing but Roger and Alt-J all weekend. So hyped for Lorde too.

I never understood why David is so lazy writing lyrics.

I cried with the lyrics of yet another movie, though

Polly does most of the writing for him anyway
