"you happened to dig up the handful of highest rated albums in the metalcore genre this site has to offer on the last 5 years"

Wasn't that the point? To show highly rated metalcore releases? They're also far from experimental even well comparing them to this total waste of an album.

Misery Signals, Killswitch Engage, Zao, Hopesfall, Oh Sleeper, Lamb of God

every single one of those bands has an album with an average of at least 3.9 or higher. Yeah this site doesn't hate metalcore by a stretch.

Saying Sput hates metalcore is hilarious.

This site even gave the title of album of the decade (2000-2010) to a metalcore album.

Yea, Sput does not hate metalcore in the least bit. If anything, it's just the generic chugga chugga metalcore that gets the hate, and that type of metalcore has pretty much died out or isn't talked about anymore.

Also what album got album of the decade? Was it Jane Doe?

There's a good amount of both metalcore and hardcore on that list. The list is quite varied as far as genres go as well

These guys release the same generic metalcore record over and over again but damn, the production on all their shit is fantastic.

I did only listen to this and Hollow Bodies. I probably shouldn't have said "all their shit"

The three albums before Hollow Bodies don't sound like this at all. There is stellar guitar work to be found in their first three albums, these guys make some tasty technical riffs. The first album, even with its shitty production, is their best. You can tell that the same band made all of these albums, but the first three albums are very different as opposed to the previous two.

See to me the awful production on that first album is what ruins it
