Bring Me the Horizon do perform well live. They are great as a hype band, to be honest. They get the crowd amped for the headliners in no time.

'Kinda ironic, cuz you fuckin lost against Ser Loras'
I'm pretty sure Loras wouldn't have stood much of a chance in actual combat v The Mountain. Mountain would just chop his horses head off once he's been knocked off of his own and then Loras is fuuuuuuuuuuuucked.

It's hard to believe, but it was certainly a very important album for the metalcore genre. It was the sign of a new beginning.

It broke all the boundaries of metal. This record transformed all of music as we knew it until 2015. Before That's the Spirit, there was no metalcore, there was no scream-o, there was just Rock, Alternative, Hip Hop, and Metal. Those were the only genres. BMTH catapulted from obscurity into international stardom with this record, and 50 years from now, your kids, my kids, and everyone's kids will have this record framed in vinyl on their wall. And it will be on the 3rd floor of the Hall in Cleveland one day. They solidified themselves as the best rock band of recent memory with this record. Amen.

couldn't agree more dude. honestly the hof should make an exception and induct them now. fuck the 3rd floor, they deserve their own wing.

'50 years from now, your kids, my kids, and everyone's kids will have this record framed in vinyl on their wall.'
All heil King Thaitus 'The' Spiritus, first of his name, bringer of metalcore, breaker of genre boundaries, blower of minds, rightful lord of the seven kingdoms and protector of the realm.

It's always funny when people equate "Anthemic" and "Catchy" to "Repetitive" and "Generic". The trick is knowing the difference and also knowing that just because a song is heavier doesn't mean it is better. There are amazing heavy songs and there are shit heavy songs. Just like there are amazing softer songs and shit soft songs. The only problem with this album is that is was released by BMTH. If a new band released this album, would it have been rated so poorly? I hardly think so. Most of the people who hate on "That's the Spirit" wouldn't even know about the album if BMTH didn't release it. And everyone just assumes that they sold out and that they don't enjoy playing the music. It doesn't sound generic at all to me and people should probably reserve words like "generic" for bands that AREN'T jumping outside of their comfort zone. It's funny how many people are so eager to post bad reviews when the genre simply isn't their thing. Funny and pathetic.

why does it matter to you what other people think of the music you enjoy?

Yeah There is a Hell slays, and it's such a shame they barely play anything off of it, as it really wouldn't be too hard to re-work them just a touch so the sound fits in with the rest live. The fact they've only played Home Sweet Hole twice breaks my heart (thank fuck I was there for it though in 2011).
