Look say what you will about disturbed but they are far away from the biggest laughing stock.Sure they have haters and they have lacked any real progression but they have created their own style (that is getting a little bit outdated but still works)
There was a video or something i can't recall where a bunch of bands like korn, avenged 7 and many more payed respect to the band and were excited that they were getting back together.
Otherwise good review.The light is actually pretty good and the two final songs aren't that bad.It's between 3 and 3.5 for me.

Do people take these guys seriously? I actually LIKE Disturbed, but seriously, listen to Warrior, Indestructible, and The Vengeful One. I don't think you're supposed to take them seriously.

@Valkoor952: I love the Vengeful One, but you can't really take it seriously. That's the point I was making, that everyone takes this band super-cereal for some reason, yet they're supposed to be tongue in cheek. I mean watch the video for The Vengeful One. He shoots a sattelite out of the sky with a revolver. XD

Not sure what you mean by popular because most of the bands you list and that ive heard in the genre are rather unpopular.If you have something more popular yet more respectable than disturbed in the metal category throw it at me.Of course we're talki.g about fairly new bands.Forget the classics.
Anyways i probably come out more of a disturbed fan than i really am.They are good sometimes great in my opinion but nothing more.

@Valkoor Well there's Tool. They're a bit older than Disturbed, but Lateralus came out after The Sickness.
