I hear you, Gyromania. A 4.5 for me acknowledges that there are minor, but significant flaws in the overall album. (I'm not one to hand out 5's very easily.) In this case, I would cite Kate's voice which still some of youthful reediness that may not appeal to everyone's ears. This may be part of the reason that she decided to re-record her vocal for "Wuthering Heights" for THE WHOLE STORY compilation in 1985. Her voice acquired a huskier richness on later records and she toned down her tendency for shrieky showboating.

Yeah, I was never all that keen on that "Wuthering Heights" remake either, KILL. The only reason I can figure she did that was because she was self conscious about her original tone.
