JMH there's a line on this album,

"I’m no longer pining to cure my disease, I’m just dying to advance the process."

Off the song resonate, then it moves straight into the chorus from there. Perfect example of how his songwriting ability has grown. The chorus lyrics included.

And yes, Tragedy is fuckin amazing. I think the best on the album, and comes in at the perfect point.

My top 3 are Tragedy, Drown and Collapse. That melodic outro in Tragedy is perfect.

TDBHAH = TWFU > Currents > Prophets imo.

Just bought Currents randomly at a vinyl sale, in light of all this talk of Currents.

Oh joy!

I like Currents a lot. The Disconnect is still one of my favorites by this band to this day.

Man there's some killer tracks on Currents, The Disconnect included in that for sure. I think people need to revisit that album. I've basically been saying that for like three days now tho haha. Maybe I'll shut up.

Currents has some better stand alone songs(Uncertainty and Sinking are mad underrated js,) but as a whole this flows much better. The Difference Between Hell and Home is their best of both worlds.

The only thing this has on the others is the lyricism. It gets more personal and heartbreaking with every new release.

True.

Finally found out that my "pre-order" vinyl copy of this is shipping. Brutal.

This is more metalcore than any of their previous releases. It kinda reminds me of older metalcore acts like Mis Sigs. And I agree, Sinking is mad underrated. Every song off of Currents is dope it just doesn't flow like an album.
