this sounds pretty cool so far, i can hear a similarity between the singer and brian fallon, especially with his gruffer screams

@gyro, dude you just took the words out of my mouth in regards to the HD version, didn't think they could make it much better! did you ever play a link between worlds? i enjoyed it, but i think a sequel to one of my all-time favorite games came with really high expectations that couldn't all be met

I heard a lot of background guitar squealing and screaching. Is there a lot of that throughout the album? I loved how it colors Seperate Songs.

If my av can spark an impromptu Zelda discussion, it has served its purpose. Agreed on all fronts about Windwaker fellas. The korok are probably my favorite creatures in the whole series.

yes! i so agree. a lot of people say it's better than a link to the past but i couldn't disagree more. i mean, it's a phenomenal game in its own right, but there's too much nostalgia linked to the original, and i found that link between worlds was more... zoomed in than link to the past, if that makes sense to you. everything seemed bigger, and the animations were more kiddish (kind of a weird gripe considering my adoration of wind waker, i suppose)

Explode, there are a lot of different flavors on this. The opener and closer are shoe-gazey, there are a lot of quasi ballads like Separate Songs, and a few burners as well. Its a nice, short listen.

surprisingly no. Its just solid. Check out the song "Separate Songs," its pretty much an early Gaslight ripoff.

I listened to this once months ago but never came back to it for some reason, probably didn't give it a thorough enough listen, but this reminded me to come back to it. Listening to 'seperate songs' now and it sounds great. Definitely get a Constantines vibe from it, and that's good.

just keeps getting better and better every time i hear it. the vocalist definitely has a gaslight anthem vibe, but there's much more going on musically

LP2 is by far their best.

But it's not on Australian Spotify.

Have to dig out my vinyl.
