New album will probably end up around a 3.5, no matter what the band said about it being their best

Their last two have been awesome, The Fire was great too. Not too keen on the two singles released so far

Usually quite relatable lyrics, new stuff boring. Just sings about god, America and his wife over and over

might have to bump my rating for this, starting to feel like it's my favorite besides Let It Enfold You (but let's be real, no SF is going to top that)

enfold is like my 4th at best. LINAWR and the new one are intercheangable with it, but I usually find waiting room a little worse and the new one a little better

still searching, the fire, and renacer are easily top 3

haha to each their own. basically every track on Let it Enfold You are anthems to my early highschool years. the new record is still growing on me, need to listen some more. i do like the throwback sound

i got into them a week before the new album came out so nostalgia isn’t much of a factor with my enjoyment. this is the only album below a 4 tho so yea enfold has some classics for sure, especially bite to break the skin and martini kiss. SS feels like an improvement over it tho, as the lyrics, production and vocal melodies are better and it flows more cohesively. the fire is probably their darkest and every song off it is one of my favorite tunes of theirs, and then renacer is like an album entirely of lifeboats so major props

Still Searching is really catchy (think I still remember all the words to Calling All Cars even though I haven't listened in years) but i feel like they lost some of their edge on that one. they didn't seem to find it again until The Fire. either way Senses Fail's constantly evolving sound is really impressive and back in the day i never would have guessed they could put out an album like Pull the Thorns

and yeah bite to break skin is a straight banger

This is my second favorite to LIEY as well. LIEY nostalgias hard but I also think it's objectively their best album.
