This album. Holy shit. I mean my expectations were already high due to their great track record butit still blew the out of the water. PL hasn't been this heavy since Shades of God and this gothic since Draconian. Most people call this a comeback...no they have been here since years. They just simply completed the path of going back to their roots with a more modern approach.

The sheer grandeur, encroaching doom, despair and crushing intensity of Victim of the Past makes it the best metal song I've heard in a couple of years for sure. Every instrument absolutely nails it and the vocals are amazing. These guys are fucking insane
