btw: what about updating the mid-era darkthrone album covers? I like some of the new ones better than the original artwork, especially Ravishing Grimness and Plaguewielder. Not sure about the Goatlord.

I prefer the original cover for each album, especially plaguewielder and goatlord.

I like that the new plaguewielder cover has a much colder colour palette. I honestly listened to that album with a different mindset after the re-release. I guess that's what they were going for with the new artwork after all.
