The music on here rules but maaann does the vocalist oversing or what.

Yeah he's wailing more with every album. I enjoy it, but it does feel more forced on this album than on the previous albums. I have a feeling he won't be cutting down on that any time soon

I want dates too! If I had to guess, this next album will contain equal overdoses of singing and even more electronics than past albums.

God dammit I knew it. I had a feeling oystein would be leaving Leprous since his involvement has been decreasing with every release. Really sucks, but a man's got to do what a man's got to do I guess.

saw the news about the new album. I'm really excited. I know Oystein has been with Leprous for thirteen years, but I always considered Tor and Einar as the leading members.

They have been the leading members, but Oystein played a bigger role early on, especially on TPS and Bilateral. His lead playing is really intelligent and compliments the rhythm section very well. But his influence has been waning with every album since Bilateral.

Hm, that's interesting. Not much prog left whatsover as it seems. Will be interesting to see how the whole album will sound..

I liked the song, but I hope Einar hasn't completely eliminated that Leprous edge that made me fall in love with the band

They claim that the new one is closer to prog rock than prog metal. If Oystein was behind that mind boggling soloing, then his presence has indeed become less and less with each offering and I believe we shouldn't expect something bilateral like soon.

I can't remember the last time a band grew on me so hard. Would love to see them live

New song has got me nervous. It's nice enough but the Einar sounds pretty held back here. A lot of distracting falsetto stuff too.

That's modern Einar for you. I like falsetto bits, but I'm more worried about the album not being risky

Song was ok, it's no The Price (if we're comparing their more current stuff). Nice and concise but yeah I agree it's a bit too safe.

So the new song seems to indicate a very different direction. It's a fun song, but I'm hoping they have some experimental stuff on the album
