not sure, but i do know that this isn't bebop or hard bop (tho def some post-bop). it's fusion+spiritual jazz. so yea
(honestly not really a huge fan of bebop or hard bop)

I haven't heard much from the 3 genres myself so it's hard to tell the difference for me personally, but imo it's got bits of all 3 in it

this is a pretty ok jazz album for sure and probably a gateway for plenty of users but c'mon don't act like this is jazz aoty when you can't name 10 jazz albums made in the past decade (speaking generally, not at Shark necessarily)

I'm not kidding myself and saying this is the best jazz album this year, but damn I'd love to know of a website or something that could let me know about new jazz records(specifically those in the "bop" category)
also the runtime never bothered me since as I said so many times earlier, this is something best put in the background
