I would find it hard to call this album folk. He's crossed a genre line somewhere amidst this album.

All I know is that it's tagged folk and I like a good chunk of folk so I thought it was worth checking out.

apparently I listened to another one of his albums a while ago and didn't like it either, but I don't even remember it lol

according to that setlist "the wild hunt" isn't a solo performance? so it's full band? that would be interestin


I saw him last night, AMAZING show. However, the instrumentation attached to "The Wild Hunt" was awful.

pretty stellar, although looking at old setlists before kind of ruined the surprise haha. wished he had played king of spain but other than that it was all amazing.

I don't know, it's actually a bit more similar than I was expecting. The arrangements are different, but it still gives off the same sort of vibe, at least to me, as his older material.
