I'm glad I got to see this band live before they released this trufflebutter ass album. Brandon was godly live. Definitely a better fit for this band and it's no contest.

Only people who like Periphery likes the new vocalist. And their opinons aren't meant to be taken seriously anyways.

I'm not sure the new vocalist is the problem. Before this album I felt like VOM didn't really have anything that made them standout. At least there are some lines on the new album that are memorable. In my opinion, the problem is that a good chunk of the songs feel more like ideas than complete thoughts. Endings seem abrupt and unfinished. Guitar riffs blend together. I don't think it's a fair assessment to blame this vocalist for this slightly above average affair.

I dunno man I always thought VOM's riffs and weird song-structures were their strong points on a their earlier work. They could write riffs that were melodic enough that you didn't need to hear clean vocals. Now it feels like the whole band just catered to the new guy and his singing. That's my biggest problem with this album. And since the new dude's cleans never really impress me (except on Ellie and Mi Casa) I feel meh about him and the album in general.

Makes you wonder how the band would fair as an instrumental group.

No, I think periphery is a fantastic band, I am upset that veil of maya, which had their own unique sound, now sound like periphery. Take a pb and j sandwich. You want peanut butter and jelly, the perfect mix. U got ur vom and ur periphery sandwich. Oh wait, you get a periphery sandwich, where is the vom? This is not the one I ordered I want a refund.

wow some awful awful comments here step yalls game up

brandons cookie cutter shit mightve cut it for some of you but this band was never meant to be 'fuckin sick dxc bro1!!'

yeah this one was a transitional album and tends to compliment the new vocals but its certainly not worse than anything made before except maybe eclipse

next one will be their best album

Gtfo dude, if u think brandon is a cc u can piss up a rope. He is one of the best false chord screamers ive ever heard and even if he was considered cliche, hes a hell of alot better than this fag.
