This or Aenima are pretty much interchangeable but I usually prefer Aenima just because this copied some of it. Lateralus will always be best.

Intension is a very interesting and unique piece imo. maybe a little bit too long and the part with the electric drums is pretty chaotic, but I wouldn't want to get rid of it at all. It's also such a good build-up to Right In Two.

agreed about the Aenima part. a lot of them feel out of place imo. I mean, what's the sense of something like Cesaro Summability? And noone can tell me that Intension is shit but (-)Ions is super cool or something. (still an awesome album regardless but yeah)

its one of the worst interludes ever tbh. only rationale I have for it is Tool just doing there thing and fucking around hard with their fans. Its sort of like hearing your child starting to cry in the middle of the night... you can either get up and do something about it (skip the track) or just bare through it and let it play out
