idk i love sadboi music i just feel like indie is always a hard genre for me to swallow

I listen to sad music ala: The Hotelier, Tallest boi On Earth, Leonard Cohen.
Where should I start with his pretty big discography based on that small selection... or is it the same kinda sound every album?

i love sad music but i've noticed i have a particular biased against more lowkey sad music like Velvet Underground's s/t, Elliott Smith, Modest Mouse's Moon and Antartica, and to a certain extent Alligator by The National .

I would say just start with Illinoise, but i haven't heard any of his albums
