I still really like the consistency of the first four tracks, then that stretch from Alpenglow to Greatest Show.



I love the way Eyes of Sharbat Gula slowly builds up and gets you ready for the epicness of Greatest Show.

I'm in a frustrating place with Floor. I think her pipes are something else but I struggle to find something to listen to of hers that I enjoy, other than some live stuff of the older Nightwish songs, and she was obviously great on Beste Zangers.

This is a bit too heavy on the cheese for me, I liked Once back in the day but stuggle with this one.

These guys used to be quite good before they went all theatrical.

Yeah it was about damn time she got some recognition over here. It's mind blowing to me that like 90% of our country had never heard of her, yet she's one of our country's biggest musical export products. Tells you something about the state of rock music over here. Now I hear 'Winner' twice a day on the radio over here. It's all or nothing apparently.

I watched the show on Youtube. It was actually pretty cool. One of the users went through every week and added English subtitles. Anyway, her being famous everywhere but her own country was like a running joke in the show, it seemed. Not she's sold out like nine solo shows, and I guess she's getting actual radio play.

These guys have been terrible for 15 straight years.

It's weird, but I feel really juxtaposed about it. On the one hand I'm glad she finally get's the recognition she deserves and might be really good for rock music in the Netherlands, but on the other hand I'm like: Shame on you fcking hypocrites, she's been great for years and now that she's shoved down your throat she's suddenly the greatest thing since sliced bread.
