Colton, if you dig Blue in Green, you should listen to the entirety of Kind of Blue and maybe something like Porgy and Bess. There is a lot of just beautiful and less chaotic stuff to get into with jazz. Maybe Scenery by Ryu Fukui if you want something a bit more energetic and lively but still really melodic.

I guess it’s simply matter of perspective. So much just jazz just makes my brain tickle in a very unique and essential way, personally. Both the really pretty shit and the weirdo/violent stuff. Insisting upon itself seems like a weird way to describe it. What is music or art supposed to be apart from what it is?
