he told me to stop the faux racism schtick, the idea that racism for blacks is exaggerated, agreeing that this album is blatantly black-supremacist/ violently hostile towards whites, idk I don't think that qualifies.

but yeah if you are really threatening to report me, ill stop, continue with the "album is good cuz its good, my favorite song is X, my favorite beat is Y, my favorite album ever." comments

"blatantly black supremacist" the blacker the berry literally does criticize the michael brown/trayvon martin protesters

like

you might read that into the album because the genesis of white pride was to continue to endorse violence and discrimination against black people but being proud of being black =/= racist

weak insights from someone who 5'd KRS-ONE, Black Star, and Killer Mike

Aight just one more time

Sometimes I get off to watching you die in vain

Completely missed the point of this lyric (Also didn't you say Blacker The Berry was really good??) - This lyric, among several ones in the first two verses of TBTB are to illustrate the perspective of a young and angry black man with irrational hate for its oppressors - That is what the song is all about (Apart from just plain calling out gang violence), to demonstrate what happens when irrational hatred takes over rational thought. The perspective switch later in the song makes this lyric more effective.

It’s gonna be murder, you know what I’m saying, it’s gonna be like Nat Turner, 1831, up in this muthafucka. You know what I’m saying, it’s gonna happen

The one who said this was Tupac (Who you sing praises for), and I'm pretty sure he wasn't advocating for it, more like just predicting it out of a gut sensation.

The difference is Killer Mike, KRS-One and Black Star all go out of their way to qualify what they are saying, in other words they all have songs and lyrics I could quote that specific what they are saying is not a race thing.

On this album he seems to love the idea of being seen as an open unapologetic racist. I guess there is question to whether hes being sincere, or kind of writing in first-person creatively, but still...

ps 'white people listening is cringe worthy... cool beats bro' ive been jamming this a lot and im white, it was a joke, you guys are too easy to upset.

The entirety of this album save for TBTB is either about Kendrick living his life as a Black man or endoring black people to become more confident/proud of themselves, I don't think even says "white people" once through out the entirety of the album - All he's saying is "Be proud of what you are/where you came from" etc especially referring to black people

That is it

killer mike, krs-one, talib kweli, and mos def would all agree with the message of this album

all of their albums do explicitly deal with "race things"

also none of this album is remotely racist, I still don't know where you get that from.
