I used to have this as a 5, but sadly times change. For the longest time I looked at this album with rose-colored glasses, and while it holds a special place in my heart albums like AATG, The Mantle, and even Marrow have all usurped this gem over time. Fantastic debut though.

This and Marrow both will always be among my all time favourites, but the same could be said of Ashes and Serpent as well.

The whole "She Painted Fire Across The Skyline" is so beautiful.

I prefer the next 2 (maybe 3) albums to this but this is still legendary. Hallways of Enchanted Ebony is my fav.
