I listened to this on a whim, not expecting much after RTP.

I was pleasantly surprised. To me, this feels like the type of progression they should've displayed after 'Innocence And Instinct.' Has most of the Red cliches I've become accustomed to, but I feel like they set out to prove something with this album. My appreciation for this band faltered after 'Innocence And Instinct,' but I feel they've breathed new life into their sound instead of trying to make it heavier; they've extrapolated on the elements of their sound that got lost when they started making more streamlined hard-rock albums. To me, this feels like a Red album and, for that, I'm eating my crow and shedding my doubts regarding this band.

"As long as we don't have to blow Toondude, I'm in."

XD that made my day.

Yeah, it's just that I have quite a few opinions that people would probably eat me alive.

I love how in 15 tracks there are no fillers unless you count Forest. Will definitely buy this when it comes out.

Lotta filler really. Would make a killer 40 min album but not 60

this is true and untrue.

they coulda done without a lot of the intros and that acoustic chains song sucks but everything else here is

No word yet on a new drummer? I would imagine Dan Johnson is going to return to his other projects.
