This really isn't that bad... nor is it very good. Definitely better than 1.5, can't imagine giving it more than a 3

I'm DEFINITELY going to review this. The more I listen to it, the more painful and downright embarrassing it becomes. A 4.0 featured review for this is absurd.

It's well-written, even if you disagree with the conclusion

Awful album, but one or two small moments save it from a 1.

Band should have stopped doing this to themselves about 8 years ago.

Dang, I must have different album than ya'll. Listened to the whole thing a few times and found it really entertaining. Liking Jet Pack Blues the most.

Dunno if anyone has seen that official music video for Irresistible, but it pretty much sums up what this band has become:

Now miles away from their pop-punk roots, Fall Out Boy deliver what can best be described as arena pop-rock on their 6th LP 'American Beauty/American Psycho'. Huge, bombastic & catchy hooks are everywhere, even if they are rather unsubtle & unabashedly too trendy. Containing clever use of offbeat samples, the production values here are so high that the actual musicians are often relegated to bystanders. Thankfully, the title track is the only tune that crosses the line into trainwreck category, even if the LP is very front-loaded with its 3 highlights clearly ahead of everything else. Recommended Tracks: Centuries, Uma Thurman, Irresistible & Fourth of July.
